In March 2012 PROBONO became an official NGO/Non Goverment Organization in Tanzania. PROBONO Tanzania is a branch of PROBONO Germany, all the statutes are the same. The official head of PROBONO Tanzania is Mr Eliet Senkoro, Tanzanian team member of PROBONO since 2005.
With the help and support of Probono, the Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium in Ostfildern, Germany and St. Joseph´s Secondary School Nkoni near Masaka, Uganda have started their school partnership. Both of them are very committed: the first emails have been exchanged and many ideas have already been developed by the schools to introduce themselves to their new partners.
PROBONO wishes the two schools all the best with many interesting contacts, life-enhancing experiences, a long-lasting partnership and also a good time!
PROBONO School-Partnerships for One World e.V. initiates and supports partnerships between schools in Germany and schools in developing countries. The two-fold aim is to support partner schools in the South and to promote social values and social engagement in German schools.
PROBONO provides funds for the construction and improvement of schools, for educational materials, for the training of teachers and to support indigent pupils in the South; it also assists and advises German schools with fundraising activities. PROBONO initiates dialogues between pupils, finances digital technology in the South and supports trips to the partner school.
This support is meant to be more than one-off or sporadic; the aim is to work together with the German schools in a long-term and lasting effort to improve the educational situation of the partner schools in the South. More about us...
PROBONO School-partnerships for One World e.V. inaanzisha na kutegemeza ushirikiano baina ya shule za kijerumani na shule katika nchi za kusini. Madhumuni yake makuu ni kusidia shule za kusini zilizopo katika ushirikiano huu, kuendeleza maadili, mujibu na utendaji katika shule za ujerumani.
PROBONO inachangia fedha kwaajili ya ujenzi na maendeleo ya shule, vifaa vya kujifunzia, mafunzo ya waalimu na kusaidia wanafunzi wasio na uwezo kwenye shule za kusini. Pia inasaidia na kushauri shule za Ujerumani katika shughuli za harambee (yaani kuingiza fedha). PROBONO inaanzisha midahalo na majadiliano kati ya wanafunzi, wanafadhili teknolojia kwenye nchi za kusini pia kuwezesha safari za kutembelea shule zenye ushirikiano.Hivyo huleta watu pamoja na kuwezesha mchangamano kati yao kwa ajili ya maendeleo ya kielimu.
