The server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. to investigate cases of misuse. If data must be retained for evidentiary reasons, it is excluded from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.

6. Newsletter subscription

The website operator offers you a newsletter in which it informs you about current events and projects at PROBONO. If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter, you must provide a valid email address. By subscribing to the newsletter, you agree to receive the newsletter and the procedures described.

Purpose of data processing: Sending the newsletter about current projects, events, or campaigns of the NGO.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR (consent).

Revocation and termination: You can revoke your consent to receive the newsletter at any time and thus cancel your newsletter subscription. After your cancellation, your personal data will be deleted. Your consent to receive the newsletter will expire at the same time.

 

7. Online donations

If you would like to support the work of PROBONO Schulpartnerschaften für Eine Welt e.V. with a donation, you can do so using our online donation form. The online donation form on the website processes the personal data required to conclude and fulfill the donation agreement, such as title, first and last name, email address, and postal address. The data is stored in accordance with legal obligations.

We use various payment service providers to process payments, which are always identified and receive your entries. These are therefore recipients of your personal data collected in connection with the payment process. You decide which payment service provider to use.

We would like to point out that, in the case of providers outside the EU and the EEA, it cannot be ruled out that your personal data may be transferred to a third country that does not have a level of data protection comparable to that of the EU and the EEA.

Depending on which payment method you choose, your data will be forwarded to the relevant financial service provider:

For the donation form, we use Fundraisingbox, a tool from Wikando GmbH, Schießgrabenstraße 32, 86150 Augsburg. When you donate via the donation form, various data is collected from you, which we process exclusively for the purpose of processing your payment/donation and issuing a donation receipt. Depending on the selected payment method, your data will be forwarded by Fundraisingbox to the relevant payment service provider. The legal basis for the data processing described in connection with online donations and for the transfer of data to payment service providers is the necessity of data processing for the conclusion and fulfillment of a contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

9. Deletion of data

Provided that your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g., data retention), you have the right to have your data deleted. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer necessary for its intended purpose and there are no legal retention periods. If deletion cannot be carried out because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, data processing will be restricted.
