Since July 2023, the approximately 500 pupils at Amani School in Usa River, Tanzania, have had a proper school library. The school renovated and repainted an old classroom that was no longer needed. PROBONO contributed shelves, tables, chairs, and many books to furnish the space.

Most children in Tanzania do not have books at home, and there are very few public libraries with children's and young adult literature throughout the country. This makes it all the more important for children to find books at school that motivate them to read, awaken their joy of reading, and thus strengthen their reading skills.
