An external evaluation of PTT2 took place from the end of September to the end of November 2024. The results show that the program has achieved its goals: teaching in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and English has improved significantly, and students have been able to strengthen their analytical thinking and independent problem-solving skills.

All participating schools now have functional laboratories with basic equipment for scientific experiments. In addition, the supply of teaching and learning materials has been significantly improved: the ratio of textbooks to students has fallen from 1:10 to 1:4, making independent work easier. In around 85 percent of the lessons visited, teachers used student-centered methods such as group work and made targeted use of the new teaching materials. Even teachers who only participated in internal school workshops regularly apply these methods – an indication that the knowledge acquired is being passed on within the teaching staff.

The evaluation also showed that students now actively participate in class, ask questions independently, and present their results. More than half showed increased analytical thinking skills. A survey conducted as part of the evaluation also showed that the attractiveness of mathematics and science subjects has increased significantly from the learners' perspective. Exam performance has also improved: between 2021 and 2023, results in science, mathematics, and English rose, and fewer students failed the national exams.
